Alien Allies

Noel was a young man... Finally free to explore the world. After living with his parents for the first quarter century of his life, he had finally moved from the small town of Moradpur, in Waindet to Kamshar, the capital of Tarpai... the largest county on the planet Quinon....

All Noels worldly belongings were wrapped up in a towel, or atleast the Quinonian equivalent of one. i suppose we earthlings would have thought of it as a bedsheet. Hopping merrily 10 feet into the thin air above Quinon, Noel walked into the city of Kamsher. Hoping to find a job as an apprentice with a Quicktact (the Quinonian equivalent of an Architect).

Bostromus, a quicktact, who had many trees (a set of branches) all across the galaxy, including four on mother earth, was quick to spot the gleam in young Noels eyes. Noel was offered a job in Delphi, a city on Earth.

Gladly accepting Bostromus’s offer, Noel returned home, and told his teary eyed parents that he would not be back for atleast 2 Quinonian years (a time roughly equal to 5 earth years). All bags packed, Noel boarded the Soyabean shuttle and was teleported to his new home on mother earth in the blink of an eye.

Noel disembarked, feeling a little dizzy, trying his best to adjust to the bright light of the Earths sun. An android carried his bags for hime, and walked him to his room, a tiny cubicle, with a balcony shared by four others… But Noel loved every inch of it.

This was just the beginning. Noel settled in and unpacked, marveling at the variety of life forms around, he settled into the couch, which expanded below him and was fast asleep within seconds. The lights dimmed and the curtains drew themselves shut… The android withdrew gracefully and stood in the corner. The only visible light was the glow of the androids eyes, as they kept a careful watch over the gentle rise and fall of Noels chest. Tomorrow would begin Noel’s new life.
